After selling her eponymous fragrance brand to Estée Lauder Companies in 1999 (where she stayed on as creative director until 2006), most people would've packed up and retired from the cut-throat world of business. Not Jo Malone.
Back in 2011, she founded her second global beauty business, Jo Loves, starting with 11 fragrances that's now expanded into candles and shower gels.
The secret of success? 'I think you need passion, tenacity – you need friendship, love and support,' she told Red last year. 'You need drive and you need hunger and that can come from lots of different directions.'
