With the beautiful weather going on, ice cream is, naturally, one of those things we start to fixate on. Two chaps with a healthy solution to your frozen treat cravings are Greg Duggan and Damien Kennedy, founders of protein high and refined sugar-free ice cream brand, WheyHey!

With a pair of physiology degrees and masters in Human Performance behind them, we thought they'd be perfect summer candidates to snap their week in food.

'Protein pancakes that are sugar free, gluten free and low in fat are the perfect breakfast/brunch food. As we had a busy day of work ahead we chose these as they release energy slowly throughout, so they’ll keep you going all the way to lunch, snack-free.'

'We like to indulge in something pretty spectacular on hump day, just to keep the week exciting. This creation is the Wheyhey the Ultimate Burger: a mix of savoury and sweet that blends lean, crispy bacon with mashed avocados, protein ice cream and savoury protein pancakes. This is the healthiest alternative to a traditional burger and it’s seriously nutritious and delicious.'

'The day of the roast. We’re partial to chicken done any way you like. But we always like something sweet to finish on, without blowing our hard work during the week. This is a raw chia seed pud that's also full of nuts and their great detoxifying qualities.'
