Okay, I know it's super cheesy to dress your kids in identical clothes, but I can't resist a bit of matchiness nevertheless. So far my guilty pleasure has been co-ordinating Coco and my own ensembles (case in point, our stripes two summers ago...)

But with the impending arrival of my second daughter, I'm already getting giddy about two little girls to dress. I promise not to go all-out identikit (I was reminded of just how bad this looks when I spotted sisters at soft play yesterday in the same hot pink leggings, sparkly sweaters and giant hair bows - like a scary Primark interpretation of the twins from The Shining), but I will succumb to a bit of harmonising. My wardrobe-inspiration for this is Babyccino Kids' Courtney Adamo and her sweet girls Ivy and Marlow - who always have their own individual styles but look lovely together too (see more of this picture-perfect brood in our April issue and look out for Courtney's Instagram takeover...)

So with this in mind, I've started a shopping list of the same same, but different pieces I love the most. And here they are...

A British sleepwear brand, The Bright Company specialises in gorgeous Slim Jym pyjamas with a super snug fit, (so they don't ride up in bed) in an assortment of gender neutral shades. I adore the idea of Coco wearing the PJs and her little sister in a matching babygro.

Caramel Baby & Child is possible my favourite kidswear brand ever (find out how founder Eva Karayannis built up the business while raising two small girls of her own). I'm completely smitten with their vintagey prints and slouchy shapes, which manage to be both super comfy and chic in one fell swoop. How ridiculously cute is this striped smock and bloomers combo? And the 'grown-up' dress version is pretty enough for a summer party but would look cute worn with a chunky cardi and thick tights too.

I've recently discovered this Spanish brand Milou & Pilou and am coveting everything. Also designed by a mom-of-two-girls, it's a Liberty-print feast of pretty dresses, blouses and baby rompers. But I don't just love the matching pieces, it's the other cool stuff to go along with them, like the denim 'dungaree' skirt with braces, seen above (which has made its way to the top of Coco's summer must-have list) and leggings with Liberty print knee patches.

And finally, these sunny pastel striped dresses from Petit Bateau are both on my summer wish list. I'm imagining them with windswept hair, sun-kissed legs and the Sun-San Saltwater Sandals. Now I just need some sunshine...
