Guacamole recipe: How to make the perfect guacamole in just 3 steps
It only takes 10 minutes and uses ingredients you're likely to already have lying around
Guacamole is one of those things that goes with almost anything — from rice dishes to meats, as well as just as a dip for chips, crisps and chopped vegetables — it's the perfect, refreshing accompaniment.
It's ideal as the weather gets warmer as it feels fresh, zesty and healthy, and works perfectly as an addition to a BBQ lunch or a pre-evening nibble with aperitifs in the garden.
There are lots of ways to make guacamole — and everyone has a different way of doing it — but this simple version is bursting with flavour and the chilli and coriander add an extra depth and kick.
You'll likely already have most of these ingredients in your store cupboard or languishing in the fridge, so all you need is 10 minutes and the self-discipline not to eat most of it from the bowl before you get it to the table.
Best of all, if you don't finish the guacamole, you can simply cover with cling film and keep for another day.
