Irish expats everywhere are heading home to make their vote count in Ireland's gay marriage referendum. A referendum that could see Ireland become the first country to legalise same-sex marriage by voting.

According to statistics there are 60,000 Irish expats who are eligible to vote in today's referendum, however to make their voices heard they must show up to polling stations in person. Cue thousands of photos of Irish expats travelling by plane, train and boat to make it home in time.
