Bold Brows

We always love a look that requires as little effort as possible but is still striking. And yes, these type of looks do exist.

Backstage make-up artist, Tom Pecheux, explains all that was used to create the Balmain look was a tiny bit of foundation, concealer and of course, brow powder.

To get the same browow effect, invest in a powder like Laura Mercier’s Brow Duo, it gives great definition and shade without looking chalky.

Make sure your brows are up to the job (filled in and full-looking) with an easy-but-effective brow product, like Dolce & Gabbana Shaping Eyebrow Pencil, available in four different shades.

To recreate the bushy, full brows seen at Jil Sander, fill them in with your usual pencil, and then use a tinted gel to shape and set them to perfection. Simple but seriously effective.

All in all, it takes some beating.

Bold, shaped and thick. Brows were just how we like them to be at Christopher Kane AW14.

Make-up artist, Lucia Pieroni, wanted the brows to look ‘naturally full, not painted on,’ so she lightly brushed arches upwards and then filled them in with NARS Brow Perfector, £16.50

This cute-looking mini kit (available in 3 different shades) delivers a rich, glossy finish without looking false.

Overall, a real lift for brows.
